District seeking more substitute teachers

The job announcement will be posted on Nov. 30 on the district website and through the Utah Department of Workforce Services website.

Once the announcement is posted, those interested in becoming a substitute teacher need to fill out the application online, attend one of the two remaining Basic Substitute Training classes at UBTech, and then complete the hiring process with the district's Human Resources Department.

Information about the Basic Substitute Training class at UBTech can be found at https://portal.ubtech.edu/Portal/Courses/List?key=22. The last two training classes being offered this school will be held on Jan. 5 and Feb. 2.

Starting pay for substitute teachers is $85 per day up to $115 per day depending on educational history and transcripts.
