During its meeting the board celebrated the students of the month for September. The students are Ethan Murray (Central Cove Preschool); DJ Mathews (Ashley Elementary); Brody Alexander (Davis Elementary); Isaac Eaton (Discovery Elementary); Salem Hancock (Eagle View Elementary); Rhaina Weaver (Lapoint Elementary); Kassidy Thomas (Maeser Elementary); Kyler Haslem (Naples Elementary); Rowan Deletant (Uintah Middle School); Emalee Richens (Vernal Middle School); Kaylee Hackford (Uintah High School); and Raylan Buening (Ashley Valley Education Center/Uintah Online).

Congratulations to these outstanding students and thank you to everyone who supports them!

The board also received a report from Ashley Elementary Principal Tawna Baumgardner about the three values her school’s students and staff will focus on this year. The video Baumgardner presented to the board can be found on the district's YouTube channel.

Uintah High Theatre Tickets on Sale
Tickets are on sale now for Uintah High Theatre’s production of The Lightning Thief: The Percy Jackson Musical. The show runs from Nov. 8-11 with all performances beginning at 7 p.m. For tickets, visit uintah.ludus.com.

Weekend Events
Good luck to the Uintah High Football Team tonight as they take on the Bruins at Mountain View High School in Orem! The game kicks off at 7 p.m.

Good luck as well to the Uintah High Marching Band! They start their competition season tomorrow at the Nebo Tournament of Bands at Payson High School.
